PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- State and city officials are helping set the next generation of leaders up for success.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday and Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker were among those who helped kick off this year's "Career Fest" at Philadelphia City Hall on Tuesday.
The three-week experience is part of the city's 'Dare to Dream' initiative.
More than 600 students from nearly two-dozen schools will participate in hands-on workshops, led by government industries and local corporations.
The initiative works to expose students to real-world career opportunities.
